Homework for 10/12/09

1. Review your observations from the “Target Stalk Walk” activity. Be prepared to explain what you saw using words from our week 1 consumer behavior vocabulary list.
2. Read about the remaining vocabulary terms for consumer behavior – specifically: Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, opinion leaders, reference groups, family life cycle, and subcultures. Be prepared to collaborate with your peers to define these terms in your own words.
3. Publish page one of your course portfolio. I will ask volunteers to share their portfolios with the class.
4. Read pages 9-10, 190-199 in the course textbook (3rd edition). If you’re using an older version, remember to look up the Market Segmentation terms in the table of contents or index.
